| Drunk Driver Kills
A seventeen year old driver killed when a drunk driver crossed the centerline on a two-lane roadway and striking a vehicle head-on. He was driving his pickup truck and she was driving her white vehicle. The speeds involved were estimated to be about 65 mph for the pickup and about 20 mph for the white car. The posted speed limit for the area was 55 mph. The drunk driver BAC was .136% at the time of the collision. The investigation showed the young female driver did slow down and move to the right in an effort to avoid this collision.
